Product thesis

Everyday AI needs more than a generic assistant. It needs small, useful, context-aware experiences that help people do real things while they are moving through the physical world.

HaloField makes those experiences easy to start and easy to create. A user can say what they want help with, choose or remix a halo, then run a bounded multimodal session that uses phone cameras, voice, audio, optional smart-glasses capture or display, and AI reasoning to produce a useful output.

Three wedges

One product loop, three launchable directions

Launch wedge

Guide My Experience

Real-time guidance, practice, mindfulness, and learning that adapts to what the user is doing and seeing.

  • French Immersion Practice
  • Slow Eating Coach
  • Mindfulness Walk
  • Pitch Practice
  • Founder/Investor Practice

French Immersion uses the user’s real environment to create beginner language practice and generates vocabulary, corrections, and a mini-dialogue recap.

Second wedge

Capture My Experience

Bounded recaps of whiteboards, house tours, events, museums, workshops, routes, and other real-world moments.

  • Whiteboard Brainstorm Capture
  • House Hunting Recap
  • Museum Visit Recap
  • Event Recap
  • Teach This Route
  • Project Capture

Whiteboard Brainstorm Capture turns messy thinking into idea clusters, open questions, decisions, and next actions.

Launch potential

Make My World Searchable

Guided capture sessions that turn shelves, closets, books, boxes, tools, craft materials, board games, and spaces into searchable memories.

  • Search My Books
  • Search My Closet
  • Scan One Shelf
  • Search My Board Games
  • Search My Craft Materials
  • Search My Tools
  • Search My Moving Boxes
“Where are the black boots?” “Which two-player board games do I own?” “What craft materials did I already buy?”

Why phones and glasses?

HaloField is built around intentional, user-started, first-person sessions. Phones make creation, review, editing, and sharing easy. Smart glasses make capture and guidance natural when the user wants to look, move, talk, and scan from their own point of view without interrupting the task.

iPhone

  • Camera capture
  • Voice-guided sessions
  • Review, edit, and share
  • Search and recall

Android phones

  • Phone-camera capture
  • Voice and audio guidance
  • Structured recaps
  • Halo management

Smart glasses

  • Hands-free start/stop
  • Spoken guidance
  • Camera capture where available
  • Glanceable steps where display exists
  • Spoken recall

Current prototype foundation

HaloField has working iPhone and Android phone prototype foundations, including phone-camera capture flows, smart-glasses flow experiments, voice/audio conversational guidance, generated visual recaps, structured outputs, and a halo list/detail experience.

  • Search My Closet
  • Search My Books
  • Scan One Shelf
  • Teach This Route
  • Event Recap
  • Product Clarity Journal
  • Pitch Practice
  • Founder/Investor Practice
  • French Immersion Practice
  • Whiteboard Brainstorm Capture

Prototypes are available, but HaloField is not yet distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The next phase hardens the iPhone and Android phone flows and adapts the same halo pattern across smart glasses with different capture, audio, and display capabilities.

Platform goal

  • Harden the iPhone and Android phone prototype flows.
  • Make the halo runtime consistent across phone camera, voice, audio, and optional glasses capture or display.
  • Adapt capture for device camera resolution, field of view, framing, and lighting.
  • Test voice, audio, and glanceable guidance across target devices.
  • Refine device-native interaction design and capability-specific halo variants.
  • Phase 1: prepare a focused launch for iPhone and Android phones.
  • Phase 2: expand the best halos to compatible smart glasses.

Starter release

The first release stays narrow: a starter set of bounded halos that make phones useful for learning, guidance, capture, and remembering the physical world, with smart-glasses variants where the device capabilities fit.

  • French Immersion Practice
  • Slow Eating Coach / Mindfulness Walk
  • Pitch Practice or Founder/Investor Practice
  • Whiteboard Brainstorm Capture or Event Recap
  • Search My Books / Search My Closet as launch potential
HaloField is ambitious because it lets users create real-world AI experiences in plain English. It is credible because the first launch can be small, bounded, and useful. Demo video: watch One-pager: current document Contact: Cecilia Abadie / 33Labs
Expanded context

More details

Expanded product thesis

Intelligent eyewear needs more than a generic assistant. It needs small, useful, context-aware experiences that help people do real things while they are moving through the physical world.

HaloField makes those experiences easy to start and easy to create. A user can say what they want help with, choose or remix a halo, then run a bounded multimodal session that uses voice, camera, audio, optional display, and AI reasoning to produce a useful output.

Expanded launch wedge

Guide My Experience is the most launchable wedge because it can be voice-first, bounded, and useful on phones today while adapting naturally to smart glasses. The same runtime can support French Immersion Practice, Slow Eating Coach, Mindfulness Walk, and pitch practice while the user is moving through the world.

Capture My Experience follows naturally for whiteboards, events, and field moments. Make My World Searchable remains strong launch potential as phone and smart-glasses camera quality, field of view, and capture ergonomics mature.

Shared product loop

The wedges share the same loop: choose or create a halo, run a guided multimodal session, and receive an output that helps later.

  • Searchable memory
  • Glasses-native guidance
  • Structured recap
  • Plain-English remix/create
